Hey there, and welcome to Buffy’s Flavorful Journey!

I am Buffy — a 55-year-old, unapologetically single, child-free Black woman who has found joy in the kitchen, peace in the garden, and power in my own voice. I started this blog to share my life, one soulful story at a time, with women like me who know that life after 50 is just getting started.

You see, somewhere between stirring cake batter and pulling weeds from my raised beds, I realized I had a lot to say — and even more to give. I have learned that joy is not something that fades with age. It ripens. It deepens. It gets bolder, just like the flavors in a good homemade dish.
